Dr. Junaid Ahsenali Chaudhry

After graduation from Hamdard University in Computer Science (Software Engineering & Artificial Intelligence), I was invited to South Korea as an invited researcher in the u-Frontier Project by Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST). I was awarded IITA scholarship and an Admission in Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Ajou University. My masters degree thesis was on using Artificial Immune Systems for self healing in Hybrid Networks and was supervised by Professor Park Seung-Kyu and Professor Hong Suk-Kyu.

I joined Graduate School of Information and Communication, Department of Computer Science, in Ajou Universityfor my doctoral studies under the supervision of Park Seung-Kyu. I earned my Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Department of Computer Science, Ajou University in February 2009. My PhD thesis work was on Autonomic Fault Identification through Metamodels Using Casual Reasoning in Self Healing Systems. After my PhD I am making livings out of research and development in theOKKAM project at Department of Information Science and Engineering (DISI) in the University of Trento now a days. Though new in the semantic web community, I seriously think that this community (Semantic Web community) needs the essences of distributed intelligence, application in sensor-based smart systems and application of the latest technologies i.e. autonomic computing to expand target audiences and open new market for the wellbeing of research and development of science.
